Grovie's moss pole ships as separate 40 cm segments rather than one fixed length, so the stack extends as segments are added instead of being replaced.
The segment and how it joins
Each segment is 40 cm long. The bottom end of one segment and the top end of another fit together and lock in place end to end, without tools or glue.
How tall a stack can go
One segment stands 40 cm above the soil line on its own. Two segments joined reach roughly 80 cm, and three reach roughly 120 cm. Add segments to extend the stack whenever more height is needed.
The clips
Soft clips open on one side and close around both the pole and a stem, holding the stem against the pole without cinching it tight. Space clips every 10–15 cm along the pole.
Which pot sizes take a pole
A single moss pole segment is stable in a 6 in or 8 in cache pot, where there's enough soil depth and weight to anchor the base. A 4 in pot is too shallow to hold a pole upright on its own.
